The BODY LIFT Flap^SM Breast Reconstruction Procedure is one of the most significant technical steps forward in the history of breast reconstruction. The BODY LIFT Flap^SM procedure allows for an unprecedented power to recreate a new breast for women facing mastectomy. Sullivan, MD, FACS and Chris Trahan, MD have recently published their groundbreaking work and pioneering description of a new technique that allows for women historically considered too thin for breast reconstruction with their own tissue to undergo their procedure with high success rates. The manuscript, “Stacked Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator Flap Breast Reconstruction: A Review of 110 Flaps in 55 Cases over 3 Years”, was published in the March 2011 Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
